SCREEN ACTIONS 2008
Screen actions young person’s film festival is run by and for young people from across cornwall. Anybody from the ages of 8-18 years is welcome to attend by booking in advance, but young people must be from cornwall to enter a film into the festival.
Young cornish filmmakers of the homeland unite...Here we go again!!!
Jumping straight onto the thriving bandwagon that was Screen Actions 2007, with not even a moment to put down your camera or to adjust your director’s megaphone, tiz the time of year to start preparations for the even bigger, even better Screen Actions 2008! this year’s Screen Actions film festival will take place on the:
6th and 7th November 2008 in Falmouth, Cornwall.
What’s happening right now?
Over the coming month screen actions will be recruiting the crème de la creme of young Kernow film fans, makers, dedicated perfoming artists and organising extraordinaires by gathering together a Steering Group of young people to shape this year’s festival. anyone between the ages of 8-18 years old, living in cornwall can be considered for the Steering Group.
Running screen actions is a full blown blast but also a lot of hard work. Steering Group members are actually in charge of the festival and so it is recommended that you take part with others from your school, college or group and can get the support of at least two adults from your school, college or group as Steering Group meetings often take place all over cornwall.
If you and your school, group or college are interested in becoming Steering Group members please contact the festival office as soon as possible on: (01209) 204 655 or info@screenactions.com
