Rights Bytes

Rights Bytes is an inspirational digital media project cultivating an online pool of short films and animations made by children and young people from around the world, exploring articles from the Convention on the Rights of the Child as they relate to their lives and experiences.

A pilot developed by Hi8us Cornwall, Creative Partnerships and Cornwall Children’s Services involved nine groups of young people across Cornwall each making a Rights Byte. This mobile exhibition, coinciding with a web launch on ChewTV shows films made by young people from Penpol, Duloe, Penrice, Padstow Schools, WILD young mothers, CareFree, Cornwall Youth Dance Company, Liskeard and Port Isaac youth groups and will be touring Cornwall the week after the Festival.
